What are some good songs to sing for a school talent show?

I'm doing a talent show with my best friend Christian (he and I are both in middle school) and we need a good song to sing for the talent show. Something with an R&B tone but still kinda upbeat. I can sing some high notes (but not Mariah Carey high) and he is an alto. I guess I'm an alto-soprano! :)
