What song is this? Please help!?

When I was little I used to listen to Mariah Carey like alllll the time. There is one song I used to listen to a lot. ALL i remember is the music video. It was a serious song i think and im not sure how old. But older than five years. It started with her sitting on like stpes outside in a sorta beat up neighbor hood and a bunch of like guys sitting near her. That's all i can think of thanks
