Car dealerships screwing people!?

my dad was going to buy a vehicle from teh car company and he got tricked into buying two vehicles and they told him the deal was not final that he had to come back today and he had his dad co-sign for it and they put the truck in his dads name instead of my dads. he went to change his mind today about buying the vehicles after talking to my mom and realizing how stupid he was and they are now not letting him go back on that deal. idk if you'd know anything about this but is there a way he can go back on it? they fed him a big line of crap and tricked him into buying a f250 and a mini coup. so when he went to take the vehicle back today they told him if he left it on the lot thats considered repossession and they will file it against him. are they aloud to do that???

What type of wiring setup should be used for 2 kicker cvr 12s and a 1500 watt kicker amp?

I have 2 kicker cvr 12s in a box to fit my truck and a Kicker ZX1500.1 1500 watt amp. I bought a basic amp kit with 8 gauge wire in it because i was clueless, but figured out that its too small. What kind of wiring setup would be the best with these subs and amp without messing with the alternator? If I had to do "the big 3" upgrade, whats the easiest way to do it? that will be healthy for a while, it isnt uncommon for really overweight people to loose weight fast when they really buckle down and cutting your calorie intake is a really good approach but you could possibly have to change up your diet and exercise levels as you loose more weight. its only gonna get harder so keep it up GOOD LUCK :)

I hate those people. What do they really know? They are in these vehicles that are meant to withstand things. They put themselves in it. And then they act like they know everything. today i was driving (with permit) and a police officer was driving with his siren on hauling. I was about to get on a 2 lane bridge that has no shoulder and panicked so i kept on going, police officer gets behind me and trys passing me, on the other lane was an oncoming truck(the bridge is made where its like a hill and you cant see the other side until you've gotten to the other side). So the truck i dont think saw him and was still driving, so to avoid an accident i speed up(if i had stopped then he would have either hit the oncoming truck or he would have swerved into my lane and hit me). he gets behind me again as he sees the oncoming trucks, finally i get off the bridge and pull to the side and as he goes onto the freeway he glares at me. What should i have done in this situation, freaked me out majorly and would like to know what to do if there is no shoulder

sounds like they put a non smog engine in your truck, they make alot more power but wont pass e check. there are lots of different 454's but since its an 89 its injected so they might have put the right engine in but didn't hook up all the emision stuff. or it could have non emission friendly parts like a huge cam or something.

Will it be cheaper to drive my car and attach a trailer or hire a moving company to move my studio apartment?

I'm moving at the end of the summer to Atlanta GA from Chicago IL. I drive a 92 Chevy Cavalier. Should i rent a small trailer and drive down there or hire a moving truck. I am trying to decide between Michelin's Latitude Tour or LTX M/S 2 for my 07 Highlander Sport. I am mainly looking for a safe, smooth, quiet and comfortable riding tire that will last better than Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza's that are currently on the car (only lasted 36K miles). Most of my driving is city with some short stretches of highway. LTX M/S 2 gets glowing reviews, but I'm not sure since it is aimed at SUV and Light Truck vs. Latitude that focuses on SUV and Crossover markets.

1989 F-150 V8, Fuel Injection, Dual Gas tanks, not getting the gas to start?

Don't drive it much, but the front gas tank has been reading full too long. Was running great, but the last few times I used it, it's been running rougher and rougher, like the gas was getting too old. When it ran real rough, brought it home quick, it died and won't start now. It's not getting the gas. Electrical is fine. At the end of trying to start it I do get "the buzz" sound. I changed the fuel filter and nothing. Man, I miss carburetors -- I had more control. Can't take it to the mechanic-- spent enough already getting somethings fixed and putting it up for sale. I need a plan of attack or my husband is going to junk it. It's a good truck with only 87,000 miles on it. Help!

Can I withhold condo association fees for work not completed. I live in a newly developed condo development. There are various types of units. I live in a free-standing unit which I purchased. The development company is the property management since the development has not sold out. When I moved in 3 yrs ago my sidewalks were all cracked up. I was told that they would be repaired the upcoming Spring. To date the repairs have not happened. My boyfriend is a truck driver, who worked for a company for 14 yrs. Now they say it is mandatory that ALL drivers be tested for sleep apnea. So far, they've only sent overweight drivers, (he's in that category) to be tested. My boyfriend does snore, but then again, who doesn't. I'm sort of a night owl, and I've heard and seen him sleep. The testing center said that he stops breathing while sleeping. I don't believe this to be true. He never had trouble sleeping before. Now all of a sudden, they say he has sleep apnea. Just thinking of ways to steal cars. No I'm not actually stealing one. Me and my friend were arguing over the easiest way. I said: go to somewhere like a parking lot at an NFL game. Like Foxboro for the Patriots in New England. It's a big, dirt, open, parking lot on the other side of street of stadium. No people are over there really. My plan would be to get a tow truck and tow a car away. I would do cut a hole in the hood, so I could disconnect the battery to prevent the alarm from going off. New Military wife. I'm so bored, what to do?

My Husband is in the Army and we are stationed in Fort Stewart GA. I'm a stay at home mom and wife. I was going to get a job at the day care center on post but someone ran a stop sign on post and hit my husband and totalled his truck(he is fine thank God). So we are down to one vehicle and he needs my SUV to get to work and back and now me and my son are stuck in the house. I only have one friend down here but she doesn't have kids so its sometimes hard to hang out with her. We don't have tons of money either so I'm limited when it comes to that. We have a pool in our apartment complex but my son is only 1 and still doesn't care for the pool that much only for an hr or 2 if that. I can't even go to the gym on post because they charge money for everytime my son goes into the Kids Club there. My 5 month old baby is taking less formula milk after starting on solids?

I started introducing a bit of solid to my baby since he completes 4� months, he really likes it. Now he's five months and still taking one solid feed a day followed by formula milk (stopped breastfeeding as my milk has stopped coming out). But now for the last three days, he relishes on the solid food but takes only a bit of formula milk. He usually takes formula milk around 5-5 ounces every feed (5 times a day) but now he hardly takes in not more than 2-3 ounces. Is it because of the solid food intake?

I am considering starting a brackish aquarium. What plants and fish can I include?

My husband and I have several aquariums, but they are really just beginner tanks. I have a thriving semi-aggressive community in a 40 gallon, a betta in a 5 gallon, a tropical community in a 55, a molly/guppy nursery in a 10, and one single little green spotted puffer in a ten. He is small right now, only an inch, but I know he is going to get much larger. My husband and I purchased him quite by accident. He was labeled as a freshwater puffer, and the salesperson said he would be fine in our large community tank. After about fifteen minutes of watching him chase mollies and neons around, we decided to isolate him in a ten gallon, and do some research. As it turns out, we'd purchased a brackish fish that will require a really large tank as an adult. I do not relish the idea of buying a 30+ gallon tank for ONE fish. What fish species would be good tankmates, and what kinds of plants would you recommend? Also, what is a good resource for planning a tank like this? Thanks!

Dream of creepy gross guy trying to kill me and siblings?

I lived in a small hamlet called red earth creek. it is a rig town surrounded by a bunch of reservations. the whole 5 years that i was there, i had a recurring dream that there was a tall, lanky, dirty man with long blonde hair and he was trying to kill me. i was always doing really impossible feats, such as pulling myself into my room from 20 feet, etc. then after a couple years, my sisters and brother were involved too and i was always trying to keep them safe. in the last 2 years of living there, my parents bought horses and we had a wooden fence in the yard. it was always snowy outside with the dim, kind of weird winter night light outside. we were always safe in the fence or in the shadow of my dads company truck. it was like he couldn't see us but was always stalking right on the edge of the fence or shadow waiting for us to make a move. it was endless and when we started to get tired from running and climbing and jumping from the ground to the trailer and back, he would get one of my sisters or brother and i would try to stop him but before i could do anything about him being there, i woke up. i was between 12 and17 when i lived there and my siblings are from 1 to 8 years younger then me (3 sisters and a brother). my parents never woke up while we were being chased. it was kind of disturbing for me as a teenager to have a continuing dream this horrific. and since i have moved from red earth i haven't had it since. i was wondering if there was any meaning to be found in a dream of this context and if anybody could tell me what it means?

New Discus on his side...?

I have a very established 90 gallon tank- 8 days ago I added 2 three inch discus to my tank and they are doing excellent- my water conditions are identical to the tanke they came from. Hi friends, I'm a Christian and I love God so much and spending time with Him. I also have a passion for horses, and love working with them and spending time with them too. But there's a point when I go back to daily living(I work about 15 to 20 hours a week, I am budgeting an apartment on my own with the other extra house expenses, try spending time with unsaved family members and witness to them, I work with unsaved people at work and try to witness) it all leaves me drained and completely restless. I somewhat feel distanced from God, I feel strong withdrawal and yearning to be with Him and be with the horses(God uses horses to quiet me and draw me closer to Him by the way along with my Bible) and I get excitable or just such a sense of disquieting within my soul around people whom I can feel negative vibes out of. I wonder sometimes if it's just me or if my sweet Savior is trying to tell me something that I'm missing. I just wrestle with demons about everyday. I don't have a horse of my own that I can just go to everyday and sit down and open up my Bible and just relish in Jesus' sweet sweet presence. I meditate in my apartment but then of course I have to get up later and make something to eat, do other stuff in my apartment and go to work. I long for just peace and stillness with Him( Psalm 46:10) and I really want a horse of my own too someday. I don't really know what else to do except keep hanging on to Him and get through the wounds of the day. And I don't really have the money to even take riding or driving lessons with horses. Any idea where to get and how to install vibration isolators?

We rent an apartment in an old house with a busy truck route in front of it and neighbours that tend to slam doors. We manage to block street and TV noise with ear plugs but when a truck drives by or a house door slams (which happens pretty frequently) our bed vibrates making it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. We saw a yahoo post where someone suggested vibration isolators for the bed but we don't know where to buy them or how to install them on the bed. We have a metal frame and metal head and footboard. If anyone knows how to do this or has other ideas for blocking the vibration noise, please please reply!!!! Thanks.

Basically, my best friend (who happens to be female..don't judge :P) has this friend who a while back apparently liked me. Me and this girl have had a little bit of history, once got together but decided to remain friends in the end and such...anyway, me and a few others went camping the other week, her included, and me and this girl ended up sharing a tent. she kinda fell asleep in my arms and we held hands for a bit, but nothing else really happened. I've known her for about a year now, and know she is very shy when it comes to that sort of thing, so wasn't surprised she didn't say anything to me or my friend about that night. For some reason though, it felt right, which makes me almost interested in her, plus with her being attractive and kind, draws me in lol. However, my friend was telling me that she met this guy (who is apparently meant to be cute, more so than me anyway) who asked for her number. He seems to be more confident than me which is probably a bonus for him, but i relish the thought of competition, so thought may the best man win. The other day though, i was at my friends house and she came round, and didn't even speak to me. When my friend went to her dance club, i offered to wait around a bit outside, as it was a pleasant evening with the nice weather, but this girl just left without even saying bye to me, which i thought was a bit rude really, even as friends. Now i'm at the dilemma where she's annoyed me with certain things (other things as well) and seems to be ignoring me which puts me off her, but i feel if i don't do something this guy will jump in first. She's a very pretty girl, and can be a very nice person, but she goes on these proper unnecessary rages with everyone which always ends up with her ignoring mostly me of all people. I'm not sure whether to not bother and knowing me end up staying single for quite some time, or try something else...i have another camping trip in a couple of weeks so i guess if i'm gonna make a move, that should be the place to do it. today i was driving (with permit) and a police officer was driving with his siren on hauling. I was about to get on a 2 lane bridge that has no shoulder and panicked so i kept on going, police officer gets behind me and trys passing me, on the other lane was an oncoming truck(the bridge is made where its like a hill and you cant see the other side until you've gotten to the other side). So the truck i dont think saw him and was still driving, so to avoid an accident i speed up(if i had stopped then he would have either hit the oncoming truck or he would have swerved into my lane and hit me). he gets behind me again as he sees the oncoming trucks, finally i get off the bridge and pull to the side and as he goes onto the freeway he glares at me. What should i have done in this situation, freaked me out majorly and would like to know what to do if there is no shoulder

I am military and have been dealing with pain from two bulging discs in my lower back since Easter.?

First it started with a numb leg with sharp shooting pains and tingling and pain, then my foot started hurting when input pressure on it, the military sent me to a neurologist that said I have meragia prosthetica which is associated with obesity (I'm 110 lbs) pregnancy and diabetes which I don't have and sent mr for an MRI. MRI showed slight bulge in l4 l5 and l5 s1 which wasn't significant enough to do anything about. Since then it's gotten so much worse my back is killing me feels like a truck has ran over me. They next sent me to pain mngmnt which said he couldn't diagnose me and that I needed a full neurological work up so I went back to base and they out in a referral to a teaching hospital which needed two weeks to decide I'f they would even take me so then I went back to dr on base and found out they denied me, so now my dr on base says he don't know what to do that I need to find a neurologist and he'd out the federal in for me. I'm at my wits end and in extreme amount of pain they won't give me any meds since I had disc fusion in dec and have been on lortab since which don't work at all and I feel like the military isn't helping me. I can barely walk can't work lost my job over this can hardly make my bills and don't know what to do! Please help! What can I do next, I'm a military dependent and I don't know where else to go went to er twice and they won't do anything either just sent me away. I just need out of pain. I can't sleep I'm starting to get ( sorry graphic) constipated now and I'm totally lost I think it's gotten worse but they won't do another MRI. Please any advise would help thanks

98 blazer a/c is having problems HELP!!!!?

Its extremely hot where I live, well the a/c when i first start the truck runs fine, but not the best. after keeping the engine running for about 1 hour worth of driving, the cold air stops, and its kinda like a window unit when you turn off the compressor, it just blows normal air. I popped the hood and touched the compressor in the truck and it was realy hot. well i turned the a/c off and drove about 30mins and when I turned the a/c back on it blew cold air. i stopped and opened the hood and the compreesor was cold again. im confused, can it be a bad compressor? HELP ASAP!!!!!

First I am middle class. I make $70k a year and every policy that he puts forward hurts the middle class and poor. 1)Taking away oil companies ability to take depletion & accelerated depreciation of its assets (that is the subsidies they refer too) is going to reduce oil exploration and increase the oil company expenses. This will of course cause an increase in heating oil and gas prices. Of course since gas prices will be higher that will cause increase in trucking and shipping and another increase in airfares. So now my necessities (food, heat and gas) are more expensive and if I am able to scrape together enough money for a vacation (which is unlikley) it will be more expensive too. What your moretoreum on oil drilling did not contribute to the rise in oil enough? To top it off the new EPA regualations which is essentially the Cap and Tax law that failed in Congress not only kills jobs in the clean coal industries but will raise my electricity bill as well. Now who does these increases hurt more the middle class or the Fat Cat in his corporate jet? Second in the last few months the President has played 17 rounds of golf (min 2.5 hrs) and held 33 fundraisers (lets say all time included 3hrs each) and then scolds Washington saying he has been there bc he met with each caucus for 1.5 hrs. So that is 142hrs to 6hrs. I guess the heart of this question is how can any regular working Joe like myself defend this policy. Best answer to anyone that can show me the error in my logic.

I've been experimenting with organic foods, and veggie type foods. I purchased some Firm tofu, mixed with 3 tbsp. mayo, garlic powder, and pepper. Whooo one prob at a time, lights don't mater if it dont'run. It "cranks"but will not start..You are looking at a fuel or spark issue. It has enough fuel^, was it raining or wet, (water intrusion in ignition-spark- system). ok, fuel pump or distributor prob. Put your ear to the back of car at the fuel filler cap, have some one turn the key on (all the way to start, but don't start) you should hear the fuel pump Humm, Whine for 2 seconds, if not pump or relay.Under the hood is a single wire, all by itself, just there hanging out it has a lill connector on it - like it's supposed to be plugged in to something. Well, with key on take a piece of wire and stick it from battery poss to the end of wire, if pump runs, replace fuel pump relay, if not running, Have fuel pump replaced. Ok, spark- pull one (don't matter) plug wire from the spark plug, have some one crank car, if you can't hear and or see the spark / ticking Have the ignition system checked out. NOW you can do these checks.. you need a piece of wire (=12in long), someone to crank the car(even this can be done by one person, just LISTEN close as you turn key on or try to crank). A bit long but very easy to figure out WHAT. Now repairing (other than relay) needs a 'shop'. Good Luck,

first off a 454 can only be a 7.4 liter, the 8.1 is a Cadillac 501. since the crate block is after market, it can have elevated compression and little to no smog equipment. i think that your best option would be to find the local referees office and take it in there and talk to them about the situation. i had to do that a while back for my car because it did not have an egr valve but that was from the factory like that.
